Welcome to Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? The United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County’s signature fundraiser! This annual event is truly a unique experience and a night to remember while supporting the arts. Special guests include visual and performing artists from all over North Carolina and other shining stars with ties to our region.

Guess Who? includes three nights of unique and entertaining thematic dinners to choose from, with incredible food and drinks! This fundraiser provides support for our Artists in Schools program, a vibrant initiative that integrates arts and education and benefits 140 Wake County K-12 Schools with 147,000 hours of programming each year.

Special thanks to our hosts, sponsors and artists who make this a premiere event for the Triangle.

And thank you for being a part of Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? 2017 and for making programs like these possible while enriching the arts in Wake County.

Meet an artist, new friends, enjoy fabulous dinners and a one-of-a-kind celebration!

See you at dinner!

A Letter from the Honorary Chair

Are you ready for an evening full of surprise, celebration and the arts? Please join us November 2-4 for gourmet food and wine alongside accomplished artists connected to North Carolina.

On behalf of the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, it is my pleasure to serve as honorary chair of what promises to be another sold-out three nights. This wonderful fund raiser began in 2005 and benefits our organization’s Artists in Schools program, which annually supports residencies and performances by teaching artists in 140 Wake schools.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? is an opportunity to connect with our supporters, make new friends and meet creative professionals who have accomplished much in their artistic field. See you at the dining table!

The Artists in Schools Program

Net proceeds from this event benefit the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County and Artists in the Schools, its signature program. This partnership program of United Arts, Wake County Public School System and Wake PTA’s provides arts education and creative opportunities for K-12 students.

children with artistLast year, this program made possible:

  • 407 arts programs in 142 schools
  • 65 writer-in-residence programs
  • 100 artist residencies/workshops
  • 242 performances

Your gift to United Arts helps make the arts accessible to everyone in Wake County. Thank you!

United Arts of Raleigh & Wake County is a multi-faceted community organization supporting the arts in Wake County. Because of the Artists in the Schools program, more than 100,000 Wake school children see a theatre, dance or music performance or get a week-long artist visit every year. Established for more than 30 years, Artists in Schools continues to grow in popularity at a time when more formal arts instruction in schools is being cut. Without the program, many children would not be exposed to art in any other way.

“Some of the happiest, most engaging times of our school year are the days we feel the impact of the United Arts Council."

— Principal, Wake County Elementary School
