Dancing Lifecycles: Using Movement and Dance Making to Investigate our Ever-changing World.
Learn how to explore the cycles of plant life, animal life and weather through movement and dance making with teaching artist and choreographer, Sarah Council. In this workshop you will experience movement integration strategies that offer easy ways to explore science curriculum through dance. In a user-friendly supportive environment you will have the opportunity to put these strategies into practice, focusing on the life of a seed, a butterfly and a drop of water. Working collaboratively, you will create original choreography inspired by these science themes. You will leave this experience with practical tools and a clear plan to get your students moving as they investigate our ever-changing world!
