Professional teaching artists (individual artists, ensembles, and arts organizations) are eligible to apply to participate in the Artists in Schools (AIS) program. Accepted programs will support K-12 learners in today's school environments while making relevant connections to arts and/or non-arts curriculum standards through at least one of the following artistic disciplines: dance, literary, music, storytelling, theatre, or visual art.
To learn about policies and procedures of Artists in Schools, review the AIS Artist Guidelines in the orange box to the right. To inquire about this program, contact Julia Mastropaolo at [email protected] or (919) 839-1498 x210.
