Linda Gorham loves folktales and trickster tales from all over the world! She tells them in her signature style that includes laughs, call and response, plus energetic audience participation. Many of her stories celebrate themes such as respect, cooperation, perseverance, and social responsibility. Linda’s stories and programs are designed specifically for grouped grades (preK-2, 3-5, 6-8, etc.). She understands the learning modes and the 'giggle factor' for each group. Linda also tells ghost stories, twisted fairy tales, 'why' stories, Greek Mythology, and stories that celebrate many remarkable African Americans. Linda was a 2016 'Featured Teller' at the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival and the Haunting in the Hills Festival. She was also a ‘New Voice Teller’ at the National Storytelling Festival and a 'Teller in Residence' at the International Storytelling Center in 2015. Linda calls her work 'teaching without preaching.' As one student said, "Mrs. Gorham is better than recess!"
