A vital champion of the arts, United Arts is launching a new campaign to promote the approachable, vibrant, empowering and fun nature of the organization. The 6-9 pm event in the 110 S. Blount Street office will include the opening of a new exhibit of digital photographs by Gabriella Corter and 3-dimensional artworks by Jeff Bell in the United Arts Marilyn J. Harrison Lobby Gallery. The opening is a part of the August First Friday event in downtown Raleigh. Originally from Canada, Corter has been creating art in Raleigh for the past three years. Her digital photography work is created using all natural light.
The exhibit may also be seen through September 2, 2009, at WakeMed.
