The National Arts Program®

United Arts, in partnership with the City of Raleigh Arts Commission, County of Wake and the National Arts Program Foundation, announces the Fifth Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program® at the Miriam Preston Block Gallery at the Avery C. Municipal Building (222 West Hargett Street). The exhibition will run December 7, 2007, through January 10, 2008 (open Monday-Friday during business hours).
 
The National Arts Program® is designed to give all artists employed by municipalities (and their families), at all levels of age and skill, an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional manner and to compete for cash prizes. Recipients of this year’s prizes include:

Works on exhibition range from paintings, pottery, sculpture, and photographs. This year’s judges include three Raleigh artists, Paul Gentille, Rebecca Rousseau, and Tim Postell.
