The third annual United Arts "Artists in the Schools" Golf Tournament is slated for October 24 at North Ridge Country Club and is open to individuals and foursomes from the general public. A 1 p.m. shotgun start begins the event, which includes lunch and an awards party. Registration is $200/player.
 
Sponsors for the third annual tournament that benefits the United Arts arts education programs in Wake County schools are Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP and Maynard Capital Partners, LLC. Other sponsorships are still available.
 
Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place. Additional prizes will be awarded for Closet to the Pin, Hole-in-One, and Longest Drive. For additional information and registration, contact Tom DiGregorio at (919) 847-9405.
 
All proceeds benefit the United Arts' Artists in the Schools program, which provides professional artists in residence and in performances in schools across Wake County in partnership with Wake County Public School System.
