United Arts has been named beneficiary of a special fund raising partnership between Ruggero Piano of Raleigh and Johnson Lexus of Durham. A special Bosendorfer piano, manufactured in honor of the 250th birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, has been made available to the Triangle market through Ruggero Piano. The limited edition instrument is one of only 27 manufactured worldwide-one for each of Mozart's piano concertos. Bosendorfer, the world's premier piano builder, has been building pianos since 1828 in Vienna, Austria. The purchaser will be named as a gold partner of United Arts, as a $50,000 donation in their name will be made to United Arts.
The instrument on display at Johnson Lexus of Durham is #19 of 24 in the limited edition series and is offered for sale by Ruggero Piano in Raleigh. Through December, Johnson Lexus will feature live music on Friday evenings from 5:00-7:00 pm and on Saturdays from noon until 3:00 pm. Guests should make an appointment to play the instrument by contacting Ruggero Piano at 919-839-2040.
