Nominations Open for 2017 Business Support of the Arts Awards

[Raleigh, NC]— United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2017 Business Support of the Arts Awards. The awards are presented annually to businesses, organizations, and individuals that promote the arts and humanities in Wake County in a significant way.

The 2017 Business Support of the Arts Awards, co-sponsored by The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, will be presented January 10, 2017 at the 6th annual State of Arts and Culture in Wake County event.

Deadline for nominations is November 28, 2016.

Categories for nomination:

•  Large Business (More than 100 employees)

•  Small Business (Less than 100 employees)

•  Individual/Foundation

• Arts Education (Individual, business, or organization that has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to improving education through the arts.)
