Full time position responsible for identification/cultivation of potential corporate and other donors; operations management of an annual campaign and special event sponsorship initiative. Coordinates detailed administrative aspects of corporate, workplace and direct mail efforts; manages campaign volunteers; and is responsible for fundraising database.
Minimum Requirements: BA or BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree or CFRE; 5-7 years of related work experience, preferably in event fundraising in a not-for-profit setting; demonstration of proven and successful fund raising experience, including knowledge of best practices and current trends; excellent verbal and written communications skills required; ability to handle rejection gracefully and bounce back assuring goals are met; strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to cold call, grow local contacts and build effective business relationships to increase organization visibility, brand awareness, volunteer staff and revenue.
Salary range: $45,000-$50,000.
