Life is Better With the Arts

October 25, 2012

A twice-monthly way to keep in touch with our valued supporters in Raleigh and Wake County

Can You Guess Who's Who?
When our mystery guests were asked to describe themselves in five words, we received some very interesting responses. Their answers will give you a hint as to which dinner they might attend. If you have  a favorite artist, this might help you narrow it down...

The artist who " Laughs Loud. Lives Fully. Writes." will be at the  Healy's grand production.

"Industrious. Risk-taker. Curious. Spontaneous. Merry!" This mystery guest was one of our most favorite guests two years ago. It is no myth, the Mason's home  (right) promises to be a rollicking good time!

"Ask, my, husband, actually, don't!" came from what mystery artist? Could it be actress/singer Lauren Kennedy (left)? Ballet dancer, Lara O'Brien? Or writer/comedienne, Jane Borden? Lucky guests of the Scoggins will soon find out!

This artist is a
"Story Weaver and Melody Maker." Could it be banjo player, Jim Mills? Or actor and singer, Alan Campbell, perhaps? All will be revealed at the Parnell house. Get your tickets today.

Make your reservation for dinner in one of the area's most distinguished homes. Over 20 artists with North Carolina ties are coming to this event and you never know who might be the guest of honor at your table.

This year's dinners take place on November 1-3, 2012 and benefit our "Artists in the Schools" program that provides grants to schools in Wake County to bring in artists for residencies and performances.
