The United Arts Council presents an annual Cultural Arts Festival every August. The Festival is a day-long, trade-show-format event that allows school representatives to see firsthand a sampling of the artists available through the United Arts Council’s Artists Resource Directory. At the Festival, school and community representatives can meet the artists and watch them showcase segments of their programs throughout the day. The event features artists who are currently listed in the United Arts Council’s Artists Resource Directory. For artists interested in being listed in the Directory, please visit Information for Artists.

United Arts would like to thank all the artists, teachers, community members and volunteers who helped make our 29th Annual Cultural Arts Festival a success!

The United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County presented its annual Cultural Arts Festival on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Wakefield High School in Raleigh, N.C. The festival featured professional artists from across the country who showcased samples of their youth programming. United Arts also offers a Directory of artists from across the country who present educational arts programs designed specifically for young audiences. In addition to youth programming, many of these artists also present performances that would be suitable for adult/all-ages audiences at low to moderate costs.
